Guides to Free Campgrounds East & West - Save!

Here are two great guides to free and inexpensive campgrounds packaged together to save you $5.68 over purchasing them separately. These are the most comprehensive guides to free and inexpensive campgrounds in the East and West – "must-have" directories for RVers who want to save money on camping. The East volume, published in 2005, lists virtually every campground in the East (including Missouri, Louisiana, Iowa and Arkansas) where you can stay for free or under $12. The West edition, published in 2007, lists virtually every campground in 17 western states where you can stay for free or under $12. Author Don Wright lists campgrounds operated by state fishing agencies and state parks, the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, the Corps of Engineers, regional and local utility companies, county parks, and more. He lists perhaps a couple hundred small town city parks, where RVers are permitted a night stay (or longer in most cases) for free or practically nothing. Learn more order

2008 Wal-Mart Atlas

Wal-Mart isn’t a campground, but you might think otherwise some evenings when the corner of a store’s parking is occupied by a few dozen RVers "camped" for the night. Most Wal-Mart stores permit a free overnight stay in a self-contained RV, and that’s where this great directory comes in handy. The 2008 Wal-Mart Atlas provides driving directions to more than 4,000 Wal-Mart stores, Supercenters and Sam's Club stores in the 49 states. Plus, all Wal-Marts with their own gas stations that sell diesel fuel (save money) are indicated, along with pharmacies, auto service centers and GPS coordinates. Learn more or order
